CHALLENGE
A centralized tool was needed to guide, store, and share resources across a collaborative of 75 healthcare, academic, and public health partners. Thousands of critical prevention and control trainings, tools, and resources needed to be organized within a secure environment—supporting their collective mission and enabling it's success.
APPROACH
Technical strategy led to a SharePoint communications site, leveraging CDC-approved Microsoft credentials to reduce access friction and remove a key usability barrier. User research highlighted a need for better content visibility, prompting the design of a custom, accessible slider with persistent secondary navigation—clarifying structure, reducing cognitive load, and enabling more intuitive navigation.
RESULT
There is now a centralized, reliable source of truth helping Firstline Partners make fully informed decisions, relay accurate information, build partner connections, advertise partner events, create on-brand Firstline deliverables and submit deliverables for CDC approval. These secure, streamlined workflows allow partners to collaborate in a space that is easy to enter, understand and sustain.
