Digital Impact Website

I designed this narrative-driven website to showcase the real-world impact of RTI research, campaigns, and digital products. The goal was to transform complex work into a compelling, accessible narrative that could inspire engagement and demonstrate meaningful outcomes. The site was built in WordPress and featured multiple initiatives, each presented as a structured story of intent and impact.

Storytelling, Brand Perception and Communication.

CHALLENGE
Eight, distinct campaigns needed to be combined into one, cohesive, scalable format. Consistency needed to be balanced with flexibility throughout the varied content. Information needed to be structured for clarity, assuring users could quickly grasp both intent and outcome. The site needed to be in a space/technology that was outside the RTI firewall, technically secure and widely available to our audience.
APPROACH
We selected Wordpress as a highly accessible tool complete with blogging options and social media integration. I knew I we needed to design a scalable content system to support multiple campaigns that would assure we were capturing what was critical to the initiaive while establishing a clear hierarchy between message and outcome. Designing for impact would require shaping how information would be understood and felt.
RESULT
A modular structure with repeatable sections, scaled across campaigns, proved wildly successful in scaffolding content clarity. Each initiative was presented as a story of intent and outcome, which transformed diverse, complex subjects into cohesive and engaging narratives. Using Wordpress allowed us to pull in supporting social media content which really drove home the breadth of impact and Wordpress' blog feature kept our communications team in contact with site users and encouraged future connections and opportunities. This was also well-received for applying the RTI brand colors in fresh, new ways.
